Some users try to send fake tips. What gives?
In any online community there will always be those people who try to skirt the rules and create disruption. In regards to tipping this behavior takes the form of customers trying to trick performers into thinking that they sent a tip.
Valid tips are sent by our servers and will appear with the gold coins icon to the left of the tip message. Only valid tips have this icon next to them. The text is in white on a fuchsia background.
If you see a disruptive user trying to trick the performer by sending fake tips please educate the performer about how real tips look. The performer can use tools on his/her side to alert our support department so that we may address the issue privately.
