I think the game between Brazil, and Germany should be the best matchup in the World Cup, and whichever team wins that game will win it. I like either the host Brazil, or Germany. Argentina, and Netherlands seem to have done really good in this year's World Cup by winning their three group games like Colombia did. I wouldn't be surprised to see Netherlands, and Argentina play each other, and would pick to win each other's matchups in today's Playoff Eight Knockout Round games before they started playing them.

The two Playoff Eight Knockout Round games were finished to setup the semifinals. The first in Group B, Netherlands beat the first in Group D, Costa Rica (4-3) in penalty kicks, and the first in Group F, Argentina beat the first in Group H, and other unbeaten team in their three games, Belgium 1-0. In the other semifinal game, with Brazil, and Germany, it'll be: Netherlands, and Argentina.

Unfortunately, Australia aren't one of the teams left in this year's World Cup, and they didn't do very well in it, too. To add, I'm not a clown, but I can joke around, and have a sense of humor.

Australia didn't do very well? Did you see any of their games Derek? Considering that Australia has a population of only 23 million and that soccer is the least popular of four codes of football played here, I would say Australia did very well

England played fucking awful. Out of tournament after only 2 of the 3 group games.

Even a team consisting of store mannequins and using a square ballwould of beatem England.

I like England. Before the start of this year's World Cup, I would've thought they would do pretty good, and by getting into the Playoff Knockout Round of Sixteen, but they didn't. I watched some of Australia. I meant that they weren't able to get at least one point in their three games. I was responding to Amanda's (Mandy's) posting, too.

For people, who didn't know, hear, and watch, the first semifinal game was finished. The first in Group G, Germany beat the first in Group A, Brazil 7-1. Today is the second semifinal. The first in Group B, Netherlands plays the first in Group F, Argentina.

And for those who prefer to watch a sport where the team members dont roll around for 15 minutes as if they have been smacked aroundethe head with a baseball bat when they were actually just touched by the bouffant perms of a rival player may I recommend the RFU Rugby World Cup next year.
